If you are looking to add a bible curriculum to your homeschool study, you may want to take a couple of minutes and read what I have to say about The Word in Motion Bible curriculum. This family curriculum from Apologia is one of the best in my opinion. Let’s take a look at 5 reasons to love The Word in Motion Bible Curriculum.
This post is sponsored by Apologia World. I was compensated for my time and honest review of this product and/or website. As always, all opinions are my own.
Colorful, Engaging Lessons
The Word in Motion will engage a student’s head, heart, and hands. During this study, you and your children will be encouraged to listen, see, talk and move. Isn’t that awesome?
Apologia
The Word in Motion curriculum is broken down into two sections, the Old and New Testaments. Each textbook and notebooking journal is full of colorful engaging lessons that will take your children on a journey that will allow them to understand and share God’s love. Full-color visual aids, biblical narratives, and character profiles are just a few of the highlights you and your family can expect from these textbooks.
Streaming Videos
Each lesson begins with a short video that you and your family should watch together. These videos include half of the lesson so they are a very important part of the curriculum, but not only that, the children love them!
There are also motions that are taught in video form. These are to help the students understand people, places and events that take place throughout the bible.
Let’s Talk About it
As with any curriculum, parents want to make sure that their kids are understanding what is being taught. This can be done in a variety of ways however when it comes to learning the Bible, there is something special about deep meaning conversation and discussion.
I love the Let’s Talk About It section of each lesson in the notebooking journal. Not only do these questions allow you to access what your child has learned in each lesson, but they can also prompt more impactful discussions about specific bible topics. What a great way to reflect on the lessons, videos, and narratives of each lesson.
Prayers
As we know, prayer is an important part of any Christian’s walk with Christ. The Word in Motion curriculum ends each lesson with a prayer centered on the theme of the lesson. Students are asked to write a prayer about the theme for the lesson. This is such a powerful way to get children on the right path to a spirit-filled prayer life.
No prep for Parents
Did I mention no prep for parents? WHOA! If all the other great features of this curriculum were not enough, this one in itself should be. How often do you find a homeschool bible curriculum packed with all this goodness and all you have to do is basically set up a log-in. Seriously, pull up the video, open the reading text and the notebooking journal and you’re on your way.
